About fitmobile
About us
fitmobile is an independent UK site that helps you choose a phone and a network on facts: manufacturer specs, Ofcom coverage data and the total you pay over a contract, then shows the best deal for you.

What we do
Most comparison sites list deals. We start one step earlier: which phone suits you, which network works where you live, and whether a contract or buying outright with a SIM only plan costs less. Every page ends with live deals that match what you were looking for.
Where our numbers come from
- Phone specifications come from manufacturers’ own spec pages. Each value is stored with its source and the date we checked it.
- Coverage comes from Ofcom’s Connected Nations data, published under the Open Government Licence.
- Network rules (price rises, roaming, credit checks, eSIM) come from the networks’ own websites, reviewed every month.
- Prices and availability come live from retailers through our comparison partner. We never type a price in by hand.
When we cannot confirm something, we say “not confirmed” rather than guess.
What we don’t do
We do not lab-test phones. Our rankings are built from published specifications, and we say so on every ranking page. Our methodology explains how scores are calculated.
Who runs fitmobile
